THE
ARTIST statement

of importance to her
Art as Environment, Memory, and Exchange

My practice is rooted in printmaking, sculpture, and land art, always seeking dialogue between human presence and the natural world. I work with water, stone, clay, pigment, and paper as living materials, responsive to time and place.

Curatorial and Educational Vision

As an artist and educator, I believe in art as a collective language. My projects often extend into teaching, curating, and collaborative exchanges, where the act of making becomes a shared experience.

Legacy and Continuity

Across decades of exhibitions in South Africa and abroad, my work has remained committed to environmental responsibility, historical awareness, and the empowerment of communities. Each piece is both a record of its moment and a gesture toward continuity — a reminder that art is not static but alive in its context.
